Antidiabetic Drug Jan – Apr, 2019

Preparation of an Anti-Diabetic drug using Gurmar plant extracts which can control the cravings for food and hence, can help in lowering of sugar level in the blood. Involved mechanical extraction of plant followed by the addition of candy prepared molding. Paperfuge August – November, 2018

Fabrication of Hydrophobic Coating on the surface of the metals using Graphene Oxide

Synthesis of Graphene Oxide-paraPhenylene Diamine coating on metal surface using electrophoretic deposition. Involved the synthesis of Graphene Oxide using Modified Hummer’s method, followed by characterizations results in order to observe the surface morphology of prepared coating in comparison with Graphene oxide structure to visu- alize the advancements and developments in the Graphene Oxide structure, which can improve its strength and hydrophobicity.

SUMMER 2018 Biomedical Engineer Intern at Apollo Hospitals, Bhubaneshwar Dealing with technicians to ensure the feasibility of a medical device in terms of design. Evalu- ating prototypes and troubleshooting problems of the computer software to test new medical instruments.

SUMMER 2019 Research Analyst Intern at IIM Ahmedabad, Gujarat 1. Analysing the quality and adequacy of the increasing public-private partnerships in primary healthcare in India. Examining the overall growth patterns and recent advancements of Public- Private partnerships in India.

SUMMER 2019 Research Intern at CIMS Hospital, Ahmedabad, Gujarat Case study on the evolving approach of Nurse Case Manager (NCM) at CIMS Hospital, Ahmedabad in a collaboration with IIM Ahmedabad. Genesys Club Chief Coordinator, 2018-2019

Genesys Club is the official technical society of NIT Rourkela. As the chief coordinator of the club, I was responsible for organising various events during technical festival. The club organised the first school exhibition in NITR, ”Beyond the Box”, with about 30 schools participating. We also organised two events, Battlezone and Maze Hunt in one of the largest Technical festivals in Eastern India with a record participation of 600 students at NITR in Nov, 2017. Akriti Club is the official Literary and Cultural society of NIT Rourkela. I joined the club in my sophomore year. As the treasurer of the club, it was my responsibility to ensure the smooth money transactions regarding the purchasing of items for the club and conduction of art exhi- bitions. The club organised the biggest art exhibition in NITR, ”RADIANCE” during Innovision technical fest in Nov, 2017.
