Responsibilities:

Working as a part of the scrum team with the software developers, product manager, stakeholders to test the integration of Surf, Partner portal, SAP applications of ServiceNow with informatica MDM system.

Participate in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle starting from Requirement gathering, Test planning, Test case generation and defects tracking till closure is reached.

Creation of test cases as per stories in sprints, execution of functional tests, reporting of defects after proper analysis of failed use cases. Identify, track, document thoroughly and report defects using the platform provided defect tracking system and assign them to stories created as per requirements.

Identifying negative and edge case scenarios to ensure complete coverage of requirements while testing.

Functional testing of integration of MDM application with front office and back office applications in ServiceNow.

Backend testing using complex SQL queries to ensure data is updated in MDM system as per requirement and is in sync with all the source systems like Surf, HI, OKTA, Eloqua and SAP and also to reduce the manual verification of large data volumes. Using Knowledge of My SQL and SQL server.

Maintain reusable test suites and ensure coverage of all possible workflows. Reusable tests maintained in in house test management tools in Servicenow platform.

Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities on a weekly basis to have a plan for the tasks in hand.

Manual regression along with automated regression testing before the end of each sprint and also after defects are fixed. Use of technologies like Java, Selenium and open source tools to create the automation scripts for regression.
