Designation : Design Engineer ( Power system Studies)

Duration : August 2018 – Till Date.

Projects Handled:

o DNVGL: Performed PSCAD Study for 300MW solar power plant connected to national grid to examine the existence of Sub synchronous resonance in the system connected to grid. Performed Short circuit ratio test to check the stability of the grid before and after connecting to the grid.

o QCOMP: Performed Insulation co-ordination study for 220/132kV Network to check the adequacy of the Surge arresters..

o Jain & Partners: Performed steady state study (Load flow, Short circuit, Motor acceleration) for 2022 World cup

ALTHUMAMA Football Stadium.

o PAL Group (District Cooling Plant): Performed Load flow, Short circuit, Arc flash, Motor acceleration using ETAP software. Insulation co-ordination study using PSCAD Software,

o Rohtang Tunnel: Performed earth-grid design for a tunnel of 8 kms.

o EGIS: Performed Insulation Coordination study (Temporary over voltage study, Switching Study, Lightning over voltage study) for 2X25kV Traction network to check the adequacy of the network using PSCAD.

Description: A sustainable micro grid is developed which is primarily powered by PV cells Wind power generator and fuel cells, the power sources are integrate with the help of MI-CUK converter, the combination of fuel cell and battery is with the solar and wind energy sources to improve the stability of the Micro grid, so that a minimum power of 30KW is continuously supplied to the load when PV and Wind energy sources are unable to generate power.
