SUMMARY
I currently am the Equipment Engineer and Facilities Engineer at Rogue Valley Microdevices. I ensure the equipment stays running and try to keep the equipment downtime to a minimum. Daily I deal with Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineering, as well as do design work for parts. I keep inventory up and have been working on updating asset lists. Being a Renewable Energy engineer I am also tasked with pushing the company into a green direction.

Infantryman (11B), U.S. Army, September 2006-February 2011 Fort Lewis, WA
Deployment to Afghanistan where I oversaw a team that everyone made it home safely.
Oversaw inventory and maintenance of all my team’s equipment and my own equipment.

Research Assistant, Oregon Institute of Technology
Objective: Designed Curriculum including lab work in accordance with Keck Foundation to focus on renewable energy sources, energy storage systems, advanced control systems, and communications systems and how to tie them into a smart grid.
Some of the research I did for the professor was published in IEEE journal.
Smart Meter Project, Objective: Add smart meters into all the buildings at Oregon Tech to allow real time data to be read allowing for a load data prediction to be established Findings: Allowed Oregon Tech to calculate the increasing energy consumption and the degradation of the renewable sources to be plotted and calculate when new sources of renewables need to be implemented.
Direct Air Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage Objective: Use of a new technology to capture, utilize and store CO2 Results: Designed a capturing system.
Applied and received grant funding for project.
Photovoltaic System Project Objective: design arrays using PVsyst and System Advisory Model (SAM) Results: Allowed me to understand the solar patterns of areas depending on the longitude and latitude, Write and Submit Proposals.
