Job Responsibilities at RMS

The team works with Catastrophic Modeling or exposure data of a majority of Fortune 500 corporate accounts, analyzing the quality of data, assessing clients’ exposure; using RMS models i.e. Risk Link Guides.

Analysts on the team specialize in data interpretation, data analytics, data quality, financial policy structures, and a deep understanding of perils including earthquake, hurricane, and terrorism.

Cleansing and enhancing the client data. Assessing data quality and making necessary assumptions for modeling.

Analysis and QA of exposure data received.

Application of Differentiated coding for account pricing on the basis of Occupancy codes provided in Schedule of values.

Analyzing, Cleansing, validation and Enhancement of the Property Insurance details received from the Overseas Clients for loss modeling.

Doing calculations using advance excel formulas (such as lookups, pivot etc.)

Searching various locations based information using various search engines for validating and enhancement of data.

Continuous coordination with the overseas client related to query in the property insurance details, also involved understanding of client requirement.
