Dear sir/madam.
My name is Dr. Zehra Akhtar and I am a family physician by profession. I have done MCPS family medicine from CPSP Pakistan and MBBS from Dow medical college. I am currently working in Riyadh at Aldara Hospital and Medical Centre. Previously, I have worked for 10- years as physician in a large tertiary care teaching hospital in Pakistan where I was working in the General OPD and treated patients with a wide spectrum of complaints including endocrine issues, hypertension, dermatology, pediatrics, geriatric issues, and genitourinary diseases as well as involved with clinical teaching and curriculum designing of final year MBBS. I am well versed in Problem and clinical scenario Based Learning and dynamic style of teaching. I also have been working as independently part time in evening as Consultant Physician at various reputable hospitals for over 6 years. This increased my exposure to a variety of patient complaints thus strengthening my clinical expertise as a family physician. I also have 1-year experience in working in a fully function accident and emergency department in a tertiary care hospital. I have several research and certificate courses to my credit as detailed in my CV. A useful aspect of my personality is that I get along well with others which make me a team worker. My abilities of being a good listener and empathizing with my patients create a strong rapport between me and my patients. I am enthusiastic about learning new skills, teaching, research projects and intend to participate in them during my career. I would like to continue my active role in the community for the betterment of individual and common health. I am looking forward to enter a strong clinical facility that will not only allow me to achieve these goals but also help me in developing my skills with broad range of exposures. I have enthusiasm, commitment, humility, passion to learn more and dedication towards the patient, which I am sure will be a valuable addition to the institute I join. Thank you for your consideration. Looking forward for a favorable response. Dr. Zehra Akhtar
