Years of ICU experience and advanced assessment skills afford me the ability to identify abnormal exam findings. My time in case management in the rehabilitation setting has taught me to view the patient’s needs as a whole. A decade of experience in these two environments, coupled with my professional background and education, make me an excellent candidate for patient management in the outpatient setting. With every patient the questions arise, “What are the acute issues that need to be addressed; and what preventative and/or prophylactic treatments/diagnostics are missing?” I strive to treat patients on all fronts while also working hard to coordinate care among the various providers involved in each individual case to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Patient education is imperative in the clinical settings. As providers, the responsibility to educate is not only important, but highly effective to promote health and well-being. It is my belief that knowledge is the first defense against and slowing the progression of chronic illness. Therefore it is my goal to ensure patients understand their diagnoses, treatment plans and preventative measures.
As a provider I believe in giving my full attention to patients and would be honored to be a valued team member with your organization. Thank you for considering my application.
