• ”GSM Based Weather Report Information System”- B.Tech Mini Project o Developed GSM based Weather report Information system to check temperature and humidity of the atmosphere and sends the report to a pre-linked phone number every one minute. The system senses temperature, light and humidity and conveys it to the user wirelessly. The system uses temperature sensor to detect and record current temperature, light sensor to detect current lighting conditions and a humidity sensor to detect current humidity conditions.
o All the data from sensors are conveyed to the microcontroller. The microcontroller processes the data and transfer to a GSM modem interfaced to it. The GSM further encodes the data as SMS message and sends it as message to the programmed user. Thus, the developed wireless gsm based weather monitoring system help the individual users in constantly monitoring the weather reports.
• Smart Grid using Renewable resources”- B.Tech Main project o Smart Grid is an electrical power infrastructure that makes intelligent decisions about the state of the electrical power system to maintain a stable environment. This project is particularly meant for energy conservation enabling the integration of renewable energy sources,, while maintaining the balance between supply and demand.
o The project utilizes solar energy with an array of solar panel fixed at rooftop producing electric energy in the form of DC. The aim of the project is to deliver excess energy back to the Power grid after the household utilization. Accordingly, the synchronization is made based on voltage, frequency and phase details of main grid. The simulation and hardware model of Smart Grid & its distribution was done. Certification course
