My name is Salami Eunice Ibukunoluwa, I am a Second-Class Upper Graduate from the Department of Systems Engineering, the University of Lagos, Akoka Lagos. I recently learnt about the opening of a Commercial Tender Engineer in your Organization I would love to be considered for this opening. I currently work as an Agency/Channels Development Officer/Analyst in Benin Electricity Distribution Company. My job entails monitoring and analysing the sales of external payment channels to third parties, proposing the best alternative payment channel for each environment under our coverage areas and also analysing the effect each payment channel has on the Company’s overall monthly revenue collection through the use of analytical tools and software such as Microsoft Excel, Access, Sharepoint, Teams and PowerPoint.

As a Data Analyst in BEDC, I am part of the team responsible for liaising with the technology provider to ensure the effectiveness of these channels to bring about an optimal revenue drive for the company.

In my first two months as a pioneer member of the Agency and Channels Department in Benin Electricity Distribution Company (Vigeo Power Limited), we were able to improve the total Company’s collection via our Point of Sale Platform by over 10% in 2 months of commencement and now contribute over 35% to the monthly overall revenue collection of the company through alternative payment channels apart from the conventional banks by understanding where challenges are from every report we gather. We have been able to use the results from the data to drive the other alternative payment channels for the overall growth of the Company. We have been able to convince public locals to make their payments to their trusted neighbourhood representatives and this has worked tremendously. We have also been able to build a relationship between these agents and the Company for a lasting revenue drive.
