PUMA - Capstone Design (08/2018 – 04/2019)
Project goal was to design and manufacture a VTOL fixed wing perching drone, otherwise known as a Perching Unmanned Monitoring Aircraft (PUMA). PUMA would be able to take off and land from perchable objects such as a light post and provide mobile observation.
Was in charge of working on perching design, fabrication, testing and integration with aircraft.
Provided all documentation and System Requirement Review Reports throughout the process.
Design Build Fly -AIAA (08/2016 – 04/2017)
Part of propulsion team for 2016-2017 AIAA Textron/Raytheon Design Build Fly competition. The aim of the project was to develop a light yet efficient tube- launched UAV that satisfied all the mission guidelines and yields a maximum score.
Provided all documentation and reports throughout the process with various team sub divisions for the project.
