Human Activity Recognition Using Smartphones: Aug. 2019 - Current Challenging time series classification task which involves predicting the movement of a person based on sensor data and traditionally involves deep domain expertise and methods from signal processing to correctly engineer features from the raw data in order to fit a machine learning model. Performed data visualization using line plots, box plots, and histograms. Explored this problem using neural networks, CNN and RNNs, specifically Long Short-Term Memory or LSTMs. Online News Popularity Prediction May 2019 - Aug. 2019 Predicted the popularity of an online news article before being published helping publishers and editors in maximizing the popularity of articles and sell advertisements.

Explored the dataset using data visualization tools and applied data cleaning steps. Performed feature engineering with Dimensionality reduction and Feature importance.
