KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS SCHEDULING ENGINEER:
Prepare Primavera P6 project schedules, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), activities, logic and activity coding to an appropriate level of detail for effective project and programme management. Monitor and report on progress against the plan and make changes as required.
Escalate risks to the delivery of project activities to Project Manager(s), highlight key milestone and critical path issues to team members, provide assessments of the impact of such issues and recommend solutions to correct the position, develop recovery programmes and contingency plans in order to meet changed objectives.
Liaise with Lead Engineers to obtain progress updates and identify potential variance issues.
Provide Project Manager with clear and concise progress and variance reports to enable accurate and timely client and internal reporting.
Manage baselines and implement change control on the project schedules in conjunction with the wider project controls system. Critically review consultant and contractor programmes to ensure logic and alignment with project objectives and key dates.
Incorporate appropriate contractor summary activities into programme schedules.
Develop and manage project schedules throughout the full project lifecycle is essential.
Analyse programmes to critically comment on logic, sequence & task duration and review and analyse programmes to identify solutions and strategies which can optimise or reduce programme durations, provide recovery options for programme delay and mitigate future project programme risks.

EOT analysis using various methods (As Planned versus As-built, Impact as planned, Time Impact Analysis, Windows Analysis, etc.)
Adopting the correct strategy for the mainstay of successful claim/dispute resolution.
Offer strategic guidance that is focused on the provable issues and to prepare documentation that is technically, legally and commercially correct.
Deals with construction disputes involving complex issues and to meet this challenge with documentation that includes high impact demonstrative evidence and graphics.
