Extensive experience interviewing patients and families to generate histories and differential diagnoses, communicating and collaborating effectively within healthcare teams, and managing treatment plans for diverse patient populations. Developed increased experience and exposure to procedural skills including laceration repairs, phlebotomy, injections, wound care, reading radiographs and applying appropriate splints or casts, nasopharyngeal swabbing for COVID-19, and pelvic exams. Outside of rotations, I have becoming a student leader in the TEEEN® program, founded by pediatrician Dr. Shirley Gonzalez, focusing on the prevention of childhood obesity and associated chronic diseases.
