Folk Music of Rajasthan- Indian Music
To understand the Rajasthani traditions in the different timelines. It also tells about the effect of Rajasthani folk music on body, mind and soul. Apart from that, it gives the awareness of the Rajasthan culture in the ancient mediaeval and modern times and its effect on society.
Inclusion of Environmental Education as a subject in Pilani Schools
This piece of research work aims at promoting the integration of subjects like Environmental studies in the course curriculum of the Schools (majorly for primary classes). Another but not the immediate goal of this research was to encourage the teachers/mentors to promote the idea of environment and how can it be preserved (via sustainability) among students.
Volunteer Experience
Nirman, BITS Pilani
I have the experience of working in Nirman under the CLP (Computer Literacy Programme) for 3 years. It taught me a lot about educating the unprivileged and understanding their basic needs.
We worked in groups to teach them the basics of the computer usage and helped them prepare for the RSCIT (Rajasthan State Certification of Information Technology) exam and helps them get jobs in Computer-operated sectors.
We as a team developed a proper course for them and also prepared a strategic plan to execute it.
