Bachelors: Pharmacy
Osmania University, Hyderabad, India (2010)
Masters: M. Pharmacy (Pharmacology)
JNTUH, Hyderabad, India (2012)
PhD: (Medical Sciences)
School of Health Sciences, University of Tasmania, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia Motivation
An enthusiastic, adaptive and fast-learning person with a broad and acute interest in the medicine of new innovative drugs, pathways and mechanisms, I particularly enjoy collaborating with scientists from different disciplines to develop new skills and solve new challenges. My interest greatly lies in oncology and related research.
Objectives
To deliver the results in time dictated targets
To work independently in an environment and be able to demonstrate leadership qualities
To be able to demonstrated capacity to work in a collegiate manner with other staff in the workplace and a demonstrated computer literacy.
To be able to perform multi tasking ability, ability to adapt to harsh environments and attain and required work knowledge, manuscript and analytical skills. Projects handled
PhD: My doctoral research was cracking the hypothesis of what a stressed goblet cell has to do or show. Firstly, the work consisted of a proteomic approach for Winnie (a mouse model of chronic endoplasmic reticular stress) goblet cells to unravel the key players involved in evading programmed cell death and aiding in proliferation. The second part was exploring the molecular mechanisms correlating ERS and apoptosis in colon cancer cells with the aid of chemical inducers and inhibitors of ERS and lastly incorporating unconjugated bilirubin as an ideal anti ER stress agent thereby adding an angle of therapeutics and making it a giant cell biology project. Masters: My masters’ work was divided into two parts obesity and arthritis. One of the ways I have induced obesity was by butter and by hormonal induction (progesterone) which mimics obesity during pregnancy. The arthritis was introduced by a chemical induction via turpentine. Lantana camara, a road side weed was employed by me against these medical conditions which was novel and was published.
Bachelors: The research project in bachelors was a literature search on mesothelioma (a rare lung cancer) which was published as best review paper in University. Research Experience
