Resume:

NARENDRANATH J

Permanent Address: *** Avasa Pride, Road Number-16, Alkapur Township, Hyderabad-500089, INDIA Ph.: +919********* E-mail: ************.*****@*****.*** Career Focus I am looking for a challenging career which demands the best of my professional ability in terms of technical and analytical skills, helping me broadening as well as enhancing my current skill and knowledge.

.

Synopsis I have completed M. Tech. in Chemical Engineering in the year of July 2013, at SRM University. My Ph.D. dissertation is entitled "Development of suitable electro catalysts with PEDOT / N-Graphene as support for energy applications "

My thesis consolidates the results of an experimental research focused on the design, synthesis, characterization and fabrication of nanocomposites for electrochemical studies and its applications. I have presented the electrical, physical, chemical and thermal properties of carbon compounds like Graphene. Further, I have used these materials as super capacitors, fuel cell, batteries and solar cells. During my research I learned, how to solve/draw new research problems (proposal) in chemical sciences and engineering. I am capable enough to work on wide range of research topics in chemical sciences. In addition,

i) I have hands-on experience in synthesis of nanomaterials, coordination compound and metallic compounds.

ii) I have sound knowledge in electrochemical studies (such as kinetics of electron transfer, corrosion and impedance), solid state electrolyte and conducting/non-conducting polymers. iii) I am good at single crystal X-ray crystal data collection and refinement. iv) I can interpret XRD, FTIR, RAMAN, XPS, Electrochemical Techniques etc., for any molecular system.

I believe that my educational background and research experience would enable me to strive as an effective researcher in your company.

Background

Ph.D. Chemical Engineering

Development of suitable electro catalysts with PEDOT/ N-Graphene as support for energy applications at A. C Tech, Anna University, Chennai, India

• Necessary Survey related to the development of novel PEM in fuel cells has been done.

• Suitable catalysts have been synthesized for the replacement of traditional used platinum catalysts in PEMFC.

• Studies over the various properties of Nafion membrane and its advantages are gained.

• Developed low-cost, high performance noble metals with conducting polymers as catalysts supported on N-doped Graphene (PEDOT/ N-G).

• First in developing NG supported noble metal based catalysts.

• To the best of our knowledge no reports have been found for NG supported with noble catalysts.
