To Whom It May Concern,
First, thank you for your time in reviewing this letter of introduction. My name is Kathleen Wiles and I am a recent graduate from the University of Kentucky Physician Assistant Program in Lexington, Kentucky. I am NCCPA certified as of July 23, 2020. I am from southern Indiana and will now be applying for the position as a physician assistant in this area. As a result of my education, skills, and personal work ethic, I am comfortable and confident in all fields of medicine. My clinical rotations provided me with a thorough experience in not only general medicine, but also specialties, giving me a complete foundation for my future career. Specifically, I had the privilege of completing my family medicine rotation at Versailles Family Medicine in Versailles, Kentucky. During this rotation, I was able to perform numerous procedures, develop autonomy, and gain experience in managing a wide variety of medical conditions. This rotation not only demonstrated how rewarding this field can be, but also gave me an exceptional foundation for my career as a physician assistant.
I am extremely driven, self-motivated, and hold myself to the highest standards so that I may care for patients in the best manner possible. I also work extremely well with others and am a life-long learner. I am interested in working in southern Indiana as I am from this area and would thoroughly enjoy giving back to this community. I have both personal and professional reasons for practicing in this vicinity as I have family members in the Kentuckiana region. I enjoy working with a diverse population that allows me the opportunity to broaden my horizons and in a setting that is challenging as well as rewarding. I am always willing to accept constructive criticism and will continue to work hard. I have a reputation as a very punctual and diligent person who works well with both staff and patients, with a focus on being a patient-oriented provider.
I appreciate the time you are taking to review this letter and your consideration of employment in your practice. If you would be interested in interviewing me or having any further discussion regarding my abilities, I can be reached by phone or email, as listed above. I have attached my resume to illustrate my qualifications.
Again, thank you for taking the time to review this letter and I look forward to hearing from you. Best,
Kathleen Wiles, PA-C
