•Completed academic mini project on the topic: “SPEED CONTROL OF SINGLE PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR USING STATOR VOLTAGE CONTROL”

Description: This project aims to control the Speed of Single Phase Induction motor by reducing stator voltage. As torque is proportional to voltage square, the torque –speed characteristics goes down, to give reduce to motor speed .Voltage control method is used for the ‘soft start ’of the machine, also this circuit can replace an autotransformer in AC voltage control applications.
