ABOUT ME Senior Design Engineer

I am a Design Engineer working at Engineering Center of NRB Bearings Limited, Navi Mumbai, India.I have completed my Master of Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Computer Aided Analysis & Design from North Maharashtra University with throughout distinction. My areas of interest are Engineering Design, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Finite Element Analysis.

EXPERIENCE Senior Design Engineer at Engineering Center of NRB Bearings Limited, Navi Mumbai From- November 2018

Designing Ball Bearings, Cylindrical roller Bearings, Taper Roller Bearings, Spherical Bearings & some special products. Extending help to plant related to design activities.

Modelling designed bearings and making manufacturing drawings.

Co-ordinating with manufacturing plants regarding new design and changes in design for process changes & cost savings.

Performing Energy Audit for reducing wastage of energy & electricity bill & also to reduce Carbon Footprint.

“Experimental and Numerical (CFD) analysis of foldable cum portable Solar Air Heater” (July-2016 to July- 2017)

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model of portable cum foldable solar air heater is developed and analyzed for outlet air temperature, absorber temperature, mass flow rate etc. using Ansys Fluent for the location of Dhule (Maharashtra) – (Latitude - 200 54’, Longitude – 740 46’ & Time zone

- +5:30)

Results obtained through CFD analysis are validated with experimental model’s results and both results show good agreement with each other.

CFD analysis of same model is carried out for Leh-Ladakh location for implementing this metal less solar air heater in military applications.

“Design, development & testing of year round air-conditioning system using Air Washer” (July-2014 to June-2015) Guide: - Prof. D. H. Dubey

Developed an instrument called air washer which can arrange all psychrometric processes according to requirement.

This instrument satisfies cold and hot water requirements simultaneously for drinking and air treatment.

Achieved energy saving in operation of unit as compared to conventional operating instruments.
