I participated in a two-month program, which offers students from Ireland internships for the summer relevant to their studies in America. During this time, I volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, an organization that builds homes for those in poverty due to natural disasters. Our group was working in New Orleans building homes for those affected Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The remaining weeks was spent in Jacksonville, Florida working for a Landscaping Contractor. I gained a lot from this experience and it was one of the factors that influenced my decision to move to America. CERTIFICATIONS
