ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Site Performances
o Performs Sites Evaluation
o Trains Customer on Equipment operations and maintenance of UPS o Represent APC -MGE- Products in dealing with customer concerns
Diagnostics Work
o Responsible for identifying and reporting failure modes encountered when in the field. o Responsible for Product feedback reports
o UPS Servicing and maintenance
o Attend Break-fix Calls irrespective of time and place. Provide services when needed. o Been the residential service engineer of several VIP customers like Infosys, Intel etc.
Technical report Writing
o Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation o Work with technical staff to make product easier to use o Organize and write supporting technical documentation o Gather usability feedback from customers, technical teams o Revise documents as new issues arise
Performing several UPS Operations like:
o Online and offline Preventive maintenance
o UPS and Server racks installation and commissioning o Replacement of spare parts, batteries, LCM Parts. o Operations of LV circuit breakers
o Power quality analysis
o Testing of UPS, batteries, power supplies at customer place.
Work experience
o Have been working in Schneider Electric for the past 4.5 years. o Have experience in servicing MGE and APC make UPS models ranging from 20kVA to 500kVA models.
o Also have experience in APC server racks and SNMP networks, PDUs. o have received specific product trainings in UPS models like MGE GPW, G5000, G7000, APC Symmetra

Hardware skills like Soldering, repair of equipment’s, diagnostics, etc.
Good knowledge about electronic/electrical components, knowledge about analogue/digital components/circuits understanding with analysis/trouble shooting skills
