OBJECTIVE

MILITARY EXPERIENCE

Write prescriptions, order the administration of medications, dispense medications and prescribe controlled substances in accordance with approved treatment protocols.

Completed 510 appointments, 250 tele consults, ordered 170 radiologic studies, 500 prescriptions in addition to my duties as Battalion Physician Assistant.

Maintained BN deployable status above the required average of 90% since June2018 according to MODS Commander Portal.

Advises the Squadron Commander on all squadron readiness issues; establishes and operates squadron aid station in a combat field environment, responsible for technical guidance and training of combat medics, supervises readiness of all medical TO&E equipment; monitors a budget of $200,000;oversees the tracking of all medical, dental and combat lifesaver readiness. Coordinate daily with BDE and MEDDAC staff and implements initiatives to improve access to care and patient satisfaction; functions as Brigade Physician Assistant in his absence.

Reduce medically non-deployable population by reducing injuries and aggressively pursuing medical dispositions.

Improve Brigade medical readiness across the board and consistently improve medical readiness standards.

Maintained Squadron readiness at 99%; the highest in 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat team.

Provided effective and efficient Role 1 care during PTA rotation and all field training events including medics training.

Completed Flight Surgeon school and became a subject matter expert in aviation medicine.

Went through TCMC hands on training including live tissue lab in Fort Sam Houston.

Continue to pursue Doctorate in Public Health in Grand Canyon University.
