I currently attend American University located in Washington D.C. I’ve recently graduated from high school in 2019. Throughout my high school experience I participated in numerous community service events. I've learned many communication skills during my previous job experiences. I’m hoping to develop more essential skills as I advance into a new and different surrounding.

During this wonderful volunteering opportunity, I learned how to work efficiently with other individuals by accommodating their needs. Throughout the camp day, I was assigned a child that had special needs, assuring they were safe and cared for. I also learned how to handle unsafe scenes, such as, self-injuries and conflicts amongst children.

In order to encourage myself to strive for the best while participating in high school, I enrolled in many challenging courses. As far as grades, I graduated with a 4.5 grading point average. Not only did I maintain an incredible GPA, but I also participated in numerous organizations such as Student Council, The National Honors Society, Beta Club, Interact, and DECA. These organizations prepared me for life's challenges and enabled me to become a magnificent leader. My major is Neuroscience and I'm also taking classes that pertain to the study of Psychology. While finishing up my first year, I've maintained a 3.8 grading point average. I'm also apart of the Student Government Association at American University for the class of 2023. I'm extremely proud of this position and continue to strive and achieve higher goals. Lastly, I'm looking at joining a sorority in my sophomore year.
