FINAL YEAR ENGINEERING PROJECT - " WASTE DISPOSAL COMPACTION " : SECOND YEAR ENGINEERING TECHNICAL PROJECT - " SPEED VARIATION IN LATHE MACHINES USING RESISTANCES " :

Research done on sub-sectors under the "GLOBAL WELLNESS" sector,focusing on the current scenario in India and its future in these sub-sectors. At the end of the project, we gave new ideas to help start-up planning to enter the field. Different tools like mind maps,perceptual maps, factor analysis and methods to find blue ocean strategies were used to find out gaps in the sub-sectors. Through SWOT, PESTEL, Porters five force model and BCG matrix analyzed and did profiling of the major companies in the global wellness industry. Primary research done with a help of a survey created by myself. Key findings of the survey revealed that the customers are very price sensitive. A portable device to easily collect, compress and store different kinds of chips generated as waste in a lathe workshop. It also helped increased safety of the cleaners who used hands to do the same work.

An attachable decide with the motor of the lathe machine which helped manipulate the speed of the machine with just push of the button. It helped reduce accidents and increase safety for the workers working in the lathe workshop.
