SUMMARY OF SKILLS: PRACTICAL

Non – invasive technology: -

● Knowledge of cardiac disease and arrhythmias.

● Knowledge of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

● Acquiring clinical Patient information including cardiac related physical findings.

● Performing Adult Echocardiography Imaging.

● Qualifications Include 2D, M- mode, continuous and Pulsed wave Doppler, colour flow Doppler echocardiography, Tissue doppler imaging.

● RHD, IHD Cardiomyopathies, Adult congenital heart disease

● Application of recent advances like AFI, 2D speckle tracking, Strain rate

● Assisting in paediatric echocardiography and Transoesophageal Echo.

● Report preparation – prepare Preliminary reports for review and Interpretation by cardiologist.

● Introduction of Electrocardiogram (Performance and Interpretation), Holter Monitor Application, Ambulatory BP monitor, Performance and Interpretation of Treadmill Test. Invasive – Technology

● Intervention procedures like PTCA, device closure balloon valvuloplasty.

● ECG & Hemodynamic Pressure.

● Provided direct assistance to physicians and patients during diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cath lab.

● Inventory managements, checking and arranging ETO materials.

● Entering the details in Cath lab worksheets.
