• Analyzed and classified galactic data set of 100000 galaxies into two different large-scale environments to study the difference in dark matter content in the two environments using AstroPy and NumPy

• Utilized SciPy optimization functions to understand the differences in behavior of a galaxy as a function of its distance from the two environments

• Visualized results using Matplotlib scatter plots, error-bar plots, and histograms to show the different correlations between variables, and the distributions of rotational velocities across the data set and the two environments

• Presented at DESI Research Forum

• Analyzed 3D data cubes to find the total H-alpha flux in 500 HI galaxies using Marvin, NumPy, and AstroPy

• Investigated the integrated star formation history of galaxies by studying the gas-phase metallicity gradients of the galaxies using NumPy and AstroPy packages.
