PROJECT NAME : Widening, Strengthening and Reconstruction of Hunterganj- Pandeypura – Pratappur Road From Km 0.00 to 29.750 (Rigid Pavement) Under Road Division Chatra, Jharkhand. The project containing 4 Minor Bridges, 1 Major bridge, 29 pipe culverts, 21 slab culverts, Guard wall and drain. Project Cost: Rs.95 Crore.

As an Assistant Highway Engineer carry out construction according to work scheduled program and site, road and cross drainage works with quality assurance through review design, field density and various frequency test as per contract and specification, preparing of Mix design for concrete for construction bridge and quality control of materials and works quality control of day to day site works.

The road works involved construction of earth works in embankment of 100% standard proctor density, using latest heavy equipment’s such as vibrator roller, excavator, dumpers etc, for laying GSB, PQC.

The duties including setting out, layout of road and structures, preparing of bar bending schedule, supervising concreting works. Preparing monthly Progress Reports and submission of work program with resources planning and maintain progress according to work program, also responsible for measurements of works, preparing monthly running bills and documentation.

RESPONSIBILITY:

•Assist to Project Manager in day to day work progress at site.

•Project Management, planning and organized team.

•Responsible supervising the construction activity construction of Embankment, Sub Grade, GSB, DLC, PQC and BM & BC work as per MOST and MoRT&H Specification and contract.

•Planning and Monitoring day to day construction activities, to implement quality assurance plan program through laboratory and field tests of various construction materials and report to Project Manager and Senior Management.

•Responsibility includes testing of all construction materials and checking of all concrete mix designs and analysis of test data as per acceptance criteria, inventory of materials, control and calibration of plant and equipment and Cube testing.

•Construction Supervision for shuttering works, BBS & reinforcement works, concreting works of all structures and quality control test.
