I am interested in applying for this position Associate Researcher Neuroscience at Mount Sinai Hospital which drew my attention as it seemed interesting to me. Through this motivational letter, I would like to put forward my candidacy for enrolment in this career.

I am Dr. Hala M Demerdash, Consultant Clinical at Alexandria University Hospitals and Laboratory Director of Al-Shatby University Hospital. I worked as Teacher Then Assistant Professor at Faculty of Pharmacy, Pharos University from the years 2009 till 2017. In July 2007, I have finished my PhD in Clinical Pathology at Tanta University Faulty of Medicine in Egypt. And received the Diploma from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Health Care Quality Management in year 2009/2010. I also received two Essential Molecular Biology Courses from Experimental Biology Center of Medical Research- Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto- Portugal; The first course was in January/February 2016, modules studied were Genomics and protein-protein interaction. The second course was January /February 2020, modules studied were Molecular Cloning and DNA- protein interaction. Participated in national project as Co-supervisor provided by STDF Projects "Science & Technology Development Fund in the year 2015/2016 “Study of the impact of some key miRNAs in progression of Chronic Hepatitis C Liver Cirrhosis and early detection of Hepatocellular Carcinoma" Egyptian Government. Also, I have experience in molecular biology work and participated in several research work and I have 24 publications in reputational Periodicals.

I attended several National and International Conferences/ Workshops. I attended and had poster presentation at AACC (American Association of Clinical Chemistry) in the years Chicago 2014 and Atlanta 2015. Presentation at WASET (World Academy for Science & Technology) -London 2016. Had two posters presented at IFCC (International Federation of Clinical Chemistry) World Lab Durban South Africa 2017. Poster presentation at 5th EFLM-UEMS European Joint Congress in Laboratory Medicine. Antalya 2018. Eposter Award; at Labquality Days Congress Helsinki, Finland 2019

I am also doing article reviewing for some Journals as J of Obesity, recently the EJGH European Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. I have decided to apply to posted job as it appealed to me as I enjoy research work, and I am always dedicated in my work.

In regards, I seek to combine all the knowledge I have gathered throughout my long working years and try this inspiring new profession.
