OBJECTIVE
I am a curious and driven individual with a strong background in Physics and Mathematics. I wish to apply my technical skills to situations and problems that society faces. I am eager to learn, and dedicated to improving efficiency and effectiveness in my work. I enjoy applying myself in different fields and growing my understanding of various subjects.
EXPERIENCE
Medic.life
Data Scientist Jan. 2020 – Apr. 2020
• Worked on development of a smart medical toilet. Primary duties involved gathering and analyzing data for use in algorithms producing medical metrics used for monitoring users’ health. Projects included measuring and analyzing audio data using supervised machine learning to calculate duration and volume of fluid flow. Utilized Python and Amazon Web Services (AWS). University Of Colorado Physics Department
Research Assistant Apr. 2018 – Aug. 2019
• Worked with a research group investigating physical properties of the Earth’s mantle. Assisted with research and analysis of various ice models. Used MATLAB to compare data produced from different models to recommend a globally representative model for use in simulation. Researched fluid and continuum mechanics of Earth deformation.
EDUCATION
University Of Colorado, Boulder Campus
B.A. in Physics, Minor in Applied Math 2015 - 2019
• I earned a Bachelors in General Physics and a minor in Applied Mathematics. My applied math work involves Fourier Series, Numerical Analysis, and Matrix Methods. Relevant coursework for upper division Physics includes Plasma Physics, Nuclear Physics, and Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics, and 2 semesters of Quantum Mechanics.
SKILLS
• Coding languages: Python, MATLAB, C++
• Experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Works well collaboratively and independently
