Summary of Experience
As an Army Logistician, I am responsible for the following duties:
Establishes and maintains stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports. Establishes and maintains automated and manual accounting records, posts receipts and turn-ins, and performs dues-ins and dues-outs accounting. Corrects error and exception documents. Reviews and verifies quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents. Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, pelletizes, and stores incoming supplies and equipment. Maintains stock locator system and administers document control procedures.
Repairs and constructs fiberboard or wooden containers. Packs, crates, stencils, weighs, and bands equipment and supplies. Constructs bins, shelving, and other storage aids. Processes requests and turn-in documents at direct support
level through warehousing section. Processes inventories, surveys, and warehousing documents. Performs prescribed load list and shop stock list duties in manual and automated supply applications. Prepares, annotates and distributes shipping documents. Breaks down and distributes field rations. Operates material-handling equipment. Performs accounting and sales functions in self-service supply.
Ensures that inventories and location surveys are performed in accordance with established procedures. Instructs warehouse personnel in loading, unloading, segregation, dunnage, pelletizing, and selection of stock and storage areas. Performs property disposal storage functions. Ensures application of special procedures for handling, storing, packaging and shipping retrograde material. Retrieves
and analyzes history and activity files pertinent to system rejected documents. Recommends additions and deletions to authorized stockage list. Maintains accounting records of property disposal activity. Reviews requests for major and controlled items. Reconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews. Processes data inquiry and manager referred listings and cards. Manages controlled, critical and reserve stocks and operational readiness floats. Performs financial management functions. Process output from catalog inquiry program, document
modifiers and special cancellation requests. Performs commissary store functions to include stock replenishment, price changes, inventories, security, stock receipt, and oversees the constructions of displays. Computes cost of the Basic
Daily Food Allowance. Ensures subsistence items stockage objectives are met. Prepares data input and utilizes ADP output to assist in material management. Prepares reports on labor and equipment, available storage space, relocation of material, warehouse refusals, and stock requirements. Directs correction of location survey discrepancies. Assists unit intermediate maintenance personnel in planning
maintenance program. Plans and coordinates subsistence supply activity. Directs corrective action to minimize spoilage, flavor contamination, and improper warehouse practices.

Receive naval nuclear material from contractors, vendors and the supply system in the Shipyard. Visually inspects material for damage, defects, corrosion due to shipping and handling. Compare shipping documents and material to the Job Material List (JML), Issue/Release Document (DD-1348), and Material Movement Document (MMD) to ensure part number, stock number, quantity, job order, key operations, weight code, inspection code, and shelf life codes are correct. Ensure that the level indicated of the Quality Assurance (QA) code is marked properly. If not the material will be forwarded to the appropriate code for further inspection. For example, if material comes in and needs to be upgraded, as stated per JML, the material will be forwarded to the Nuclear Material Inspectors (Code 139) to be inspected and tagged with Ready for Issue (RFI) tags. Research and analyze the stock number through HAYSTACK to obtain the appropriate manufacturer and send information to the APL/QPL cleanliness engineer If APL/QPL is present on supporting documentation. Verify the hazardous, shelf life, classification, and asbestos labeling are marked accordingly. Prepares a Receipt Inspection Deficiency Log (RIDL) in the Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP); or other appropriate documents for resolution when rejecting material containing technical or non-technical discrepancies.
Segregate, store or stage nuclear material according to the Corporate Nuclear Material Manual(CNMM) Ensure 2S/X1 material and/or classified Naval Nuclear Propulsion material is stored, transported, routed and handled to prevent damage, loss and improper identification or use. Use of Hazardous Material Management System (HMMS) when receiving/staging hazardous material. Determine precautions required upon receipt of 2S/X1 material in pressurized container and ensure appropriate Shipyard codes are notified. Prepares appropriate Shipyard form for hand-to-hand signature receipt. Inform Supply Technicians and Project Material Managers (PMM) of pertinent data maintenance of the Material Access Technology (MAT) database on current up-to-date status. Run reports from MATREPORTS database for Direct Material Inventory (DMI) monthly expiring shelf life (MM100R)material report to dispose/remove from inventory. Pull MILSTRIP status report (MM100B) to check document tracking status to update on MAT and to notify Supply Technician and PMM's of any discrepancies and status of material using DSS-MRO tracking system.
Utilize MAT to return unused material from various nuclear production shops and put them into Future Use Material (FUM), then creating a new document number so the material will be readily available to other nuclear production shops. Create a resolution deficiency report over nuclear plant material, research, analyze reports, coordinate and recommend corrective action to be taken on all nuclear discrepant and nonconforming material received by Defense Depot Pearl Harbor (DDPH) or any other vendors. Monitor and update MAT status reports for all shipboard material and taking appropriate action to ensure compliance with various NAVSEA and Shipyard instructions. Providing material status information and critical items list (Hot lists) for use in monitoring urgently required or problem items are discussed at Plan of the Day (POD) meetings.
