Developed new truck loading application. This application allows the shipping department to identify items ready to ship to clients per given order number. Assign the items to trucks routed to the client location. Scan those items as they are loaded. Alert the the shipping staff if a scanned item does not belong on the assigned truck. Generate a shipping manifest showing all scanned and un-scanned items. This allowing the shipping department to ensure all ordered items are loaded to the assigned truck. Also developed a web application to allow customers to view their open orders, and all items that are a part of the open order.

Technical Support Analyst II
Provide technical support to clients using the iTERA and MIMIX HA products. This involves taking client calls and assisting in resolving questions and or technical issues in the use of the iTERA and MIMIX High Availability products. This is done either on the phone, Webex, Gotomeeting or VPN to the client box. These products allow clients to replicate company critical data from their primary iSeries to one or more backup iSeries. These products also allow the clients to fail over to their backup device in the event their primary machine is no longer available, thus allowing them to continue processing their daily business with a very minimal down time. Using IBM’s journaling and remote journaling processes in conjunction with the iTERA and MIMIX application programs.
Accomplishments at Vision Solutions:
I have been able to gain the knowledge and ability to provide first level technical support to a large client base on a very sophisticated and highly technical HA application set. Cabinetry By Karman Murray, UT 11/05-2/07
Contract Programmer Analyst
Accomplishments at Cabinetry By Karman:
Developed an auto import process, where the parent company sends an order request via a comma delimited file, which is copied to the IFS drive on the AS/400. The process then captures the file and runs through an order creation process, validating the order data and notifying the end user. Extensive knowledge of the JMAS software package. This package is a manufacturing package that is used to define, order, and schedule the building of custom cabinetry, as well as all accounting functions, including AR/AP/GPL. I generated several custom reporting programs that allow the company to track and verify cabinets at each stage of production. Created and auto receiving process that adjusts the inventory for materials received for a generated purchase orders. This process is done when a shipment of raw materials is received from the parent company, along with an electronic file; the data is verified against the actual shipment invoice and updated in to the system.
