PROJECT# - Aurora Networks
CMS (Craft Port Management System (RS-232))
Embed Technologies Sr. Developer December 2007 - December 2012
Project Description:
Module#1: BK-NODE (DT5232N)
The DT5232 can be sold in two forms: one with only Tx which we already have supported on our GUI and the other is with Tx + Rx. When there's Rx-Board available in the DT5232, it reports AR4403 Present as the fourth i2c pin from slot F, show this Rx Status Info.
Module#2: NM4010 (USB Connection)
The NM4010 includes Aurora's integrated monitoring and management system, eliminating the need for costly status monitoring transponders and the allocation of forward and return bandwidth for the transponder's communicating frequencies.
Module#3: OP48Pin
The OP3528 Module has 48 pins with different signals. Before signals are came dynamically. Those signals are depending on ITU Channel no. This Module has 8 channels, each channel having BC Pwr, NC Pwr, BC/NC Pwr, and Attenuation Input signals. All the 8 Channels depending on these signals.
Module#4: OR3144H
The OR3144 module will convert a modulated 1330 nm laser light to a 75 ohm RF output. The calibration and setup for the optical power sensors are follows, disconnect all optical inputs to the OR3144 and press the calibrate button for the dark current reading.
Module#5: T1 Ethernet
Aurora's T1/E1 Ethernet module provides the solution for the cable industry's next generation TDM-over-packet technology that will enable MSOs to aggressively pursue a huge cell back-haul opportunity. With the distinction of being among the top few products to have thus far achieved Metro Ethernet Forum MEF-18 certification, this equipment is engineered for the stringent requirements of cellular back-haul, making it vastly superior to myriad pseudo-wire solutions in the marketplace.
Module#6: NC2000
The NC2000 includes Aurora's integrated monitoring and management system, eliminating the need for costly status monitoring transponders and the allocation of forward and return bandwidth for the transponder's communicating frequencies.
Module#7: Bit Coax Module
Bit Coax is a flexible solution, compatible with cable operators' current procedures and services. Set-top boxes with conditional access, cable modems, MTA and EMTA continue to work as before because the two-way RF spectrum utilization below 1 GHz is unaltered.
Module#8: Analog Transmitter and EDFA
The Aurora AT3550 series high performance 1550 nm externally modulated analog transmitters are available in several optional configurations to meet various network requirements and feature minimum output power of 9.5 dBm with 14 to 18 dBm SBS suppression.
Responsibilities:
Involved in gathering requirements and built technical specifications from the requirements and also involved and participated in Code reviews.
Analysis and documentation of requirements with Business through conference calls with clients and they are base lined.
Involved in the design and coding for the application.
