Works closely with the CFO, Controller, and Asset Manager(s) on internal and external operating reports (results of operations), strategic initiatives analytical and financial support, business metrics/KPIs, accounting data efficiencies, capital expenditures administration, ad hoc analysis and reporting in support of strategic and corporate decision making. Responsible for the monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for Hawaii Gas and other MIC Hawaii Assets.
Works closely with the MIC management team (parent company) of Hawaii Gas via providing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including MD&A and SEC filing support and analysis.
Assists in the administration of company capital expenditures, volume data, revenues and margins, and monthly operating expenses.
Provides financial support for PUC related filings and reporting. Generates annual 5 Year PUC capital budget.
Supports business decisions by providing effective analysis and modeling of relevant internal and external data. Adds value by providing insights and recommendations in addition to raw analysis.
Constructs detailed financial models to develop business cases for capital projects, ROI on new business contracts, full P&L forecasting as well as propane COGS forecasting.

Senior Analyst responsible for generating and administering monthly financial reporting. Perform key analysis using personally financial models to provide detailed analysis on company margins, spending, and sales. Construct monthly forecasting for year-end results based on monthly actuals. Work closely with Hawaii Gas Controller on preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financials. Provide financials for quarterly 10-Q filings and annual 10-K filings. Administer and monitor a $20-million-dollar annual capital expenditure budget. Compile and report annual 5-Year PUC CapEx filing for Hawaii Gas. Provide any ad-hoc CapEx reporting requested by management.
