Karnataka Co-operative Milk Producer’s Federation Limited (KMF) Successfully completed internship at Central Quality Assurance Department, KMF and submitted a detailed report on the quality analysis conducted for various milk products manufactured in Nandini.

BWSSB Sewage Treatment Plant, Balagere

The sewerage water treatment process of different capacity plants (30 MLD & 60 MLD) were briefed during the course of internship. The internship also gave knowledge on A2O process, sludge treatment and disposal methods.

PROJECT WORK

Synthesis of Nanocellulose from Elymus repens and Cynadon dactylon. The research work focused on the synthesis of Nanocellulose from grass species commonly discarded as plant waste during agricultural activities and renovation of yards. The Nanocellulose synthesized was further utilized in the preparation of a durable composite.

Evaluation of Sodium Carboxy-Methyl Cellulose as an additive for Enamel powders to obtain optimally enhanced thin corrosion resistive coating.

Conducted at the Ceramic Technology Institute (CTI), BHEL (Guided by Mr. G Thirupathi, Sr. Manager- CTI/ Corporate R&D)

Sodium Carboxy-Methyl Cellulose (Na-CMC) was evaluated as an additive for Enamel powders to obtain optimally enhanced thin corrosion resistive coating with unhindered heat transfer rate. This additive- coating mixture is to be potentially used in Air pre-heaters of Thermal Power Plants. COURSE WORKS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
