Education

Master’s in petroleum engineering- Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gujarat, India. 2015-2017 Covering overall operations of oil and gas industry, which includes Wells (drilling and completion), Subsurface

(geology and Reservoir Engineering), Facilities, Subsea and Materials & Corrosion. Field development programme was developed to design a vertical well at a depth of 12,000 ft. The field development programme included acquiring geological data, selection of rig and rig components, mud weight and cement calculations, selection of casing setting depths, selecting BHA components and well completion jobs.

Overall obtained CPI: 7.5/10

Dissertation- Designing of water injection build-up scheme in oil field reservoir. The dissertation covered the objective of any water-injection operation is to inject water into the reservoir without plugging or permeability reduction from particulates, dispersed oil, scale formation, bacterial growth, or clay swelling." Ideally, injection water should enter the reservoir free of suspended solids or oil. It should also be compatible with the reservoir rock and formation fluids and would be sterile and non-scaling. The objective of any water-injection is to jack -up the reservoir pressure to sustain production without plugging or permeability reduction around the well bore from particulates, dispersed oil, scale formation, bacterial growth, or clay swelling. In addition, souring of sweet reservoirs by sulphate-reducing bacteria should be prevented if possible Mechanical Engineering- R.M.K college of Engineering and technology, Chennai.
