I started with Optima Health as Medical Claims Processor to where I applied my knowledge in medical terminology, I did it for 5 years, from there I moved to Customer Operations to where I service our members, doctors, hospitals and other medical facilities, I helped them with any questions that is related to claims, benefits and other medical issues, I worked in that department for 7 years. From there I moved to Marketing Dept. to where I applied my knowledge in selling Health Insurance and Medicare Advantage Plan. I stayed with the company for 26 years and held multiple positions during those times.
