Roles and Responsibilities: -

Creation and Maintenance of Design Information according to ISO 13399 standards.

Execution of 3D Cad models and 2D of Cutting Tools, Tool Holders, Inserts and Custom tools for Simulation purpose.

Execution of 3D detailed model for Customer. (Depending upon request)

Product Development Work for Turning and Milling tool holders and inserts.

Designing of fixtures requirements for Grinding and other similar operations.

Design Press Tool Assembly for custom inserts.

Preparation of Product drawing & Process drawings for standard & Custom Inserts.

Calculations for Press tool shrinkage for insert manufacturing.

Calculation of grinding allowance to be given to the insert to minimize the wastage of carbide powder & powder savings calculations.

To work with PLM software like Enovia and to execute different processes like PAP, PCP, TAP & ECO’s.

To design sheet metal components, modeling & surfacing of the components with the use of NX.

Pre-study to produce “Rapid Prototyping Insert” project. Specialization: -

Ability to incorporate product changes in product drawing and in product CAD.

Very good knowledge about GD&T

Excellent with the use of NX (All versions), AutoCAD, CATIA & Enovia (PLM). INTERNSHIP
