i) Experience in screening of microbes, isolation of secondary metabolites from Algal biomass, purification of novel compounds by preparative GC-MS and TLC and expert in microbiological techniques.

ii) Exploring diversity, distribution and chemical ecology of microorganismsfrom tropical, fresh water environments using taxonomic and molecular tools. iii) Ecological and functional diversity of microbes from different ecological niches. iv) Host- microbe interaction, diseases and health freshwater algae. v) Microbial Technique : Microscopy, Growth curve, Coli form test, Staining techniques, microbial analysis of samples, Sterilization methods, Cultivation of pure cultures and Antibiotic sensitivity assay.
