DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
oPerform routine and different special X-ray procedures.
oPerform bedside portable radiography in different sections or wards especially in ER, ICU and Operating room.
oPerform plain and IV contrast CT Scan Procedures.
oCommunicates with patient, parents or other relatives to obtain history, explain the procedures and tackle concerns most especially in contrast studies.
oApplied Radiation protection accessories (gonadal, lead apron, thyroid shielding etc.) to avoid radiation exposure of the part not being examined most specially the radiosensitive part of the body.
oPractice sterile techniques to prevent contamination
oAlways maintain cleanliness and orderliness of X-ray room, CT Scan room and equipment after used.
oKeep the information privacy of the patient (e.g. health records).
oKnowledge in RIS/PACS.
oTo response during emergency as needed.
oTo assume responsibilities in supervising the section of the department in the absence of the supervisor.
oPerform other duties as required.
oTyping of CT-scan, X-ray, Ultrasound and 2d echo results.
oSupervise and monitor trainees and interns during the procedures.
