Performed components selections, vendor survey, customer source inspection (CSI), design review, failure analysis, in-house screening criteria, provided RoHs partrs, and prepared procurement specifications for both active and passive devices. These included hybrid circuits, custom circuits (ASIC), IC’s, semiconductors, resistors, capacitors, motors, and etc. Provided purchasing, quality assurance, production, MRB, and receiving inspection supports. LEAD COMPONENTS/PROJECT ENGINEER 1981-1982
Responsible for the entire common-buy program for the production of 28 Global Positioning Satellites(GPS) as required by MIL-STD-1546 and MIL-STD-1547. Direct support to the purchasing department on this multi-million dollars common-buy program for procuring both active and passive components. Responsibilities included schedule, budget, implementation of radiation requirement and control, generation and control of automated parts list for 10 subcontractors, vendor survey, vendor negotiation, and vendor selection.
HTL K WEST, Santa Ana, CA
PARTS, MATERIAL, AND PROCESS (PM&P) MANAGER 1978-1980
Responsible for the selection, evaluation, and failure analysis for both active and passive devices, including processes and materials. Generated procurement specifications to SAMSO-STD-73-2C requirements. Performed vendor survey and precap visual inspection at the manufacturer’s facilities. Provided purchasing, production, quality assurance, and receiving inspection supports.
COMPONENTS ENGINEER 1960-1978
Responsible for the selection, evaluation, and preparation of procurement specifications for both active and passive devices. Other responsibilities included vendor survey, vendor selection, failure analysis, design review, in-house screening criteria, CSI, and precap visual inspection. Prepared component parts program and non-standard parts submittal. Negotiated specification requirement with the prospective suppliers. Provided purchasing, quality assurance, receiving inspection, and production support. Assumed sole responsibility for the semiconductor parts effort on a successful satellite program. This effort included establishing parts program during parts procurement. These experiences gained from companies such as TRW, Hughes Aircraft, Litton, and Bendix.
MANUFACTURING ENGINEER 1965-1968
Supervised 40 production people. Responsible for the Hi-Rel testing of semiconductor devices. Review sales orders to establish price and delivery schedules. Responded to customer specification requirements. Generated internal specifications in compliance with company quality assurance procedures. Other responsibilities included circuit design, environmental testing and parameter characterizations. These experiences gained from Teledyne Semiconductor, International Rectifiers, and Master Specialties.

ADDENDUM
The following experiences were not mentioned in my resume because they were not electronically related.
I owned and operated 3 different businesses (one restaurant, and two hydraulic machine shops) for 22 years and worked as a components engineer consultant at the same time. I had as many as 15 employees worked for me. I also prepared payroll, billing, banking, tax preparation, and order supply. I’ve worked anywhere from 12 to 18 hours a day for 22 years.
