•Implement and support full disk encryption. Encrypted every laptop, PC and Mac that contained sensitive data. Resolve all escalated encryption tickets and log the solution. Train help desk and hardware team on best practices for resolving encryption issues. Provide detailed documentation to local and out of state technical support groups across the company.
•Scanned all active IP Addresses on our internal network for vulnerabilities via Tenable Nessus. Use Linux scripting to massage robust data filtering all medium/high risk security wholes found on the network. The filter also provided the details to resolve each risk. The filtered risk/risk resolution were neatly placed in spreadsheets. and delegated to the proper server administrator or network team for remediation via our ticket software. After remediation I scheduled rescans to ensure the vulnerability is eliminated.
•Ran external vulnerability scans with McAfee Secure. Delegated all discovered vulnerabilities and vulnerability resolution to device administrators for remediation.
•Host Intrusion Detection - Used Tripwire to monitor the file integrity of all servers on the network. Responsible for setting the most efficient monitoring configurations to reduce noise. Provided daily reports of file system activity.
