• I retired from Arconic Aerospace on April 1, 2019.

• During my years at Purdue, I wrote COBOL, FORTRAN, ALGOL, and PL1 programs. I wrote several COBOL programs during the 1969, 1970, and 1971 school years. Our senior project was a deliverable COBOL program for a local Lafayette company for production scheduling and financial reporting which included payroll. I have recently purchased 3 COBOL textbooks and have been writing COBOL programs by hand to refresh my skills.

Quality Engineer

August 2006 to March 2019

• I was a Quality Engineer with responsibility for Pratt and Whitney, Rolls-Royce, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and General Electric. I am a Pratt and Whitney Certified Laboratory Controlled at Source Representative and an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. I was the lead Quality Engineer for the start up of 6 new Pratt and Whitney castings from 2012 through 2019. I retired from Arconic Aerospace on April 1, 2019.

Quality Manager

Reptron Manufacturing Services - Gaylord, MI

April 1986 to July 2006

As Quality Manager, I had responsibility for all inspectors which included receiving inspection, in- process inspection, and shipping inspection. I also had responsibility for document control, internal audits, and I was the contact person for ISO external audits. I was a member of the ISO implementation team that achieved initial certification on our first external audit in 1994. I assisted bringing Unisys, Diebold, Siemens, and Stryker Medical onboard as customers. We had 25 employees when I was hired in 1986 and we had over 300 in Gaylord when I left in 2006.
