RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify the requirements & scope of work, review specifications, drawings & other documents of the project and establish applicability to the scope of work.
Supervising a team of field technicians or contractors and plan the activities in an operational environment in safety culture.
Regularly contact with discipline engineers & supervisors to review project work execution.
Attending daily meeting with co-ordinator and team leaders to update progress & receive daily reports.
Preparation of project quantity and cost estimation, preparation of VOWD for the billing activities.
Monitoring maintenance & construction activities to ensure the installation done properly as per applicable codes & standards.
Raise Technical and site query related to field construction constrains.
Verification of Detailed Engineering Documents which includes P&ID, instrument tag list, JB location and cable layout, cable schedule, functional logic diagram, loop diagram, isometric drawings, panel wiring diagrams.
Ensuring that all PPE, PTW, HSE requirements are comply with company rules and regulations.Able to prepare, write suitable and comprehensive testing procedure when required
Yibal Rejuvenation Project – PDO, OMAN under STS. Working as a Quantity surveyor cum supervisor for the rejuvenation project.Project quantity and cost estimation works including the preparation of volume of work done(VOWD) and billing related activities. Supervision of construction and changeover of well head and MSV Banks as a PDO Approved supervisor.
Polysilicon Project, Qstec, Rasslaffan under DOPET Qatar. Supervised the Erection and commissioning of Process instruments, F&G systems, typical lighting systems, SAT/Loop test, function test, assist the commissioning of Switch gears, ACUPS & Power distributing systems at Qstec Polysilicon plant.
Turnaround Shutdown for RFCC, Crude Refinery, Utilities & GRTA in 2018 at QP Refinery, Mesaieed.
Erection, Calibration and testing of level switches, control and on-off valves as per data sheet. Overhauling of Motors, Control Valves and Maintenance of PT, LT, TT, FT, LS.
Turnaround shutdown- Steam Turbine Compressor Maintenance for Ethylene unit in 2015 at RLOC, Rasslaffan.
Calibration, Troubleshooting and repair/replace of instruments (Vibration probes, RTD, Speed probes, Pressure transmitter, Anti-surge & governor valves, etc.) in Ethylene compressor unit under the guidance vendor/client. Checking of vibration probe using TK-3, Gap voltage setting as per requirement. Changing of damaged RTD’s in compressor. Supporting vendor for Nevada relay channel configure. Worked for client for the maintenance of Anti-surge valve by changing the boosters, solenoid valves, transfer valves etc. and tuning of valves.
BOG booster Compressor Project at Petronet LNG, under SAVAIR Energy Ltd Kochi. Erection, commissioning and functional testing of various transmitters such as Pressure, temperature, flow, level, Vibration, control valves etc. Panel wiring and module switch installation for communication purpose.
Instrument field and bench calibration.
Turnaround Shutdown- Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit in 2013 at BPCL Refinery, Kochi. Instruments in distillation column removal and re-installation for FCC unit, Calibration and re-installation of instruments in distillation column including tray works and tubing installations. Support shutdown and start-up activities of FCCU units and other Utilities of Refineries.
BPCL Kochi Refinery under AEITS International, Kochi, India. Preventive maintenance of field instruments, Perform modification of instruments under the guidance of Engineers. Support shutdown and start-up activities of CCU, SRU, DHDS, ARU and Utilities of Refineries. Consult manufacturer’s manuals, Data sheets, Loop diagram for maintenance procedures of instruments using HART and take corrective action.
