TECHNICAL PROJECTS
Oregon Tech Smart Grid September 2019 – June 2020
Creating a small-scale model of OIT and simulating features of smart grid as a proof of concept of implementation of smart grid for the Oregon Tech campus.
This will simulate emergency shut-off features, fault detection, abnormal consumption detection for safety and maintenance, data acquisition and analysis of power readings.
PLC Project April 2020 – June 2020
Demonstrated an elevator, vending machine, and an RC car using PLC programming.
Designed the ladder logic program for the PLC and interfaced the model with HMI.
Arcade Basketball Machine April 2019 – June 2019
Lead coder. Designed and developed a replica of commercial arcade basketball machines using Arduino and microcontroller components.
Features include RFID token card identifier, ultrasonic sensors to detect score, servo lift gates, score screen, multi-LED light show, and game soundtracks.
AC-DC Variable Power Supply January 2019 – March 2019
Designed, simulated and experimentally tested an AC-to-DC power supply that has a linear regulator with current boosting to provide an adjustable regulated output voltage and short-circuit/overloading protection.
Remote Control Lawnmower June 2018 – Aungust 2018
Worked as part of a 6-person team to design a gas-powered lawnmower by utilizing wireless radio frequency remote control for vehicles.
