I was highly privileged by the PARCO administration to avail an opportunity to participate in the Attock Refinery Up-Gradation Project Limited at Attock Refinery Limited (ARL), Morgah, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, from February to July, 1999 during which my principal responsibilities were to get involved in the Electrical Installation activities of Heavy Crude Unit and Boiler Sections. This project gave me an opportunity to work in close consultation with:

Upon my successful return to PARCO Headquarters at Karachi, from ARL, Rawalpindi, I was promoted to the post of Engineer-III and was then transferred to PARCO’s Mid Country Refinery Project site at Mahmood Kot, Muzzarfargarh. During my stay at MCR, PARCO, I was actively involved in performing the following duties :

Construction work supervision, testing and commissioning etc.

Performed installation of all electrically operated equipment such as motors; transformers etc. according to the standard specifications by utilizing minimum manpower, material and time to ensure least amount of down time.

Monitored work carried out by subordinates to ensure adherence to standard quality.
