Performed telehealth visits for children with various developmental or behavioral concerns such as: ASD, ADHD, DD, LD, and ID, as well as high-risk NICU follow-up.
Engaged in daily didactic discussions about these conditions as well as developmental milestones, surveillance and screening, and school-based services/IEP/504 plan.
Pediatric Rheumatology: MUSC, Dr. Natasha Ruth
Performed telehealth visits via Doxy.me for children with rheumatologic conditions such as JIA and its subcategories, SLE, idiopathic uveitis, and juvenile dermatomyositis.
Observed and assisted procedures such as arthrocentesis and intra-articular corticosteroid injections.

Honed medical Spanish speaking skills by providing care via a free medical clinic to the impoverished, underserved population residing in Costa Rica.
Addressed the medical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the Los Guido community while also assisting in renovating their local church.

Shadowed a PA and MD in neurosurgery during clinic visits and in the OR
Observed the following surgeries: lumbar and cervical laminectomy, discectomy, and fusions, as well as an anterior pituitary transsphenoidal tumor resection.
Acquired an appreciation for physician assistant profession and solidified my interest in pursuing a career as a PA.
