Developed and maintained Business-Support programs under Mellon Banks teleprocessing network (INQUIRY) and trained other developers to do the same.
Created a bank-card number conversion using a sequential file of old/new account numbers. Since the file was too large to fit in a COBOL table, I coded an IBM Assembler program to load and perform binary searches against the table to convert the bankcard numbers.
In response to an edict from the Federal Accounting Standards Board wrote a program that tracked the amortization of costs and fees generated at loan closings.
Wrote and executed the system testing for the Y2K effort on a commercial loan system.
Assisted in the effort to convert Mellon Bank’s commercial loan system into another loan system at Bank of New York after the merger of the two companies.
