Main activities and responsibilities
• Responsible with the good operation and maintenance of Power Control Room, Distribution Panel, PLC, SCR, Generators, AC/DC Motors, VFD, Cranes, and all the electric equipment for drilling, Air Compressor, Cooling System, Kitchen and Accommodation.

• Carry out maintenance and repair on electrical components of drilling equipment, i.e. Driller's console, Cyber Base Chair, Anti-Collision System (ACS), Operations, DC drilling motors and auxiliaries, Top Drive System, draw works, mud pumps, koomey unit, Elmagco brake, etc.
• Install new equipment as required, with regards to electrical wiring, fixtures and junction boxes, etc.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures and with the company's Permit to Work System and Electrical Procedures Manual
• Manage starting and putting of generators on line for single and parallel operation.
• Manage restoration of rig power following a loss of generators
• Perform setting of operational parameters as well as inspection, cleaning, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, repairs, and replacement on breakers and transformers
• Perform cleaning, inspection, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems, such as AC and DC motors and control circuits
• Perform testing and calibration of alarm systems and sensors, and maintenance of alarm and communication systems
