This training was completed during sixth semester in Sponge Iron Division (E & I) of Monnet Ispat& Energy Limited. The course basically titles the study of various functions of this section.

Post Qualification Experience :-

Currently working in Shyam Steel Industries Limited as Senior Electrical Engineer in Power Plant Division. It is a single unit captive power plant with capacity of 10MWand having 6.5 years experience in

HT and LT motor maintenance.

ESP maintenance,

Circuit breaker maintenance of both LT and HT voltages viz. Air Circuit Breaker, Vacuum Circuit Breaker and SF6 Circuit breaker,

Load management System employed for better load sharing between generators

Generator maintenance of 30MW and 25MW units

Variable Volatge Variable Frequency Drive operations

132/11KV substations with transformer capacity of 25MVA ONAF Power Transformers

Maintenance of 1.5MVA and 750KVA DG set maintenance.

Orient Paper Mills Limited Amlai site Operational Energy Group India Limited in Power Plant Division Electrical (June 2018 to August 2019). It is a captive power plant with capacity of 55MW comprising of 2 unit viz. 30MW and 25MW running in isolated mode.

Shree Nakoda Ispat Limited (January 2015 to June 2018)

It is a captive power plant of 26MW capacity comprising of 3 units viz. 6MW, 8MW and 12MW running in synchronized mode with 132KV grid through 132KV/11KV 25MVA Power Transformer.

API Ispat and Powertech Pvt. Ltd. (July 2013 to December 2014)

It is a captive power plant of 24MW capacity comprising of 2 units of 12MW each running in synchronized mode with 33KV grid through 33KV/11KV 20MVA Power Transformer.

Project Details:-

•Minor Project on “Speed Control of DC motor Using PWM Technique”.

This Project was allotted during 6th semester and was a study oriented working project describing the range of speed control in DC motors using digital closed loop control system using PWM technique. The circuit designed here is interfaced to microcontroller which makes the speed control more robust and reliable.

•Major Project on “Speed Control of Induction Motor By Field Oriented Control Using MATLAB”.

This project was allotted during 8th semester and was a study oriented project describing Speed control of Induction motor by axis transformation. The project basically focuses on transformation rotating axes to stationary axes and varying the angle between stator and rotor fluxes thus forcing induction motor to behave like DC motor. Eventually leading to speed control of induction motor over wide range and making equivalent to DC motors.
