Accountabilities in Site Execution and Co ordination

Make sure the site execution/Electrical installation is done as Per the DEWA/ADDC/SEWA approved drawing and Latest Authority regulations.

Assisting in DEWA/ADDC/SEWA approval procedures. Dealt with engineering activities such as Material submittal for approval to Client/Consultant, Work order preparation, Budget Control Analysis etc.

Actively involved in the Preparation of materials requests, Budget change notes based on the requirements and store stock quantity.

Follow up with procurement department for LPO processing, & follow up with the supplier till the delivery at site. Clarifications in the procurement stage & thorough inspection after the delivery of the materials.

Follow up with the clearances issued by the civil department/main contractor and get the work done as per the schedule to ensure timely and smooth completion of civil and architectural works in parallel.

Attending progress review meetings and Site walks with consultant/client to address the important issues at site and resolve them for smooth completion of the project. Also conduct internal progress review meetings with Supervisors, charge hands & store keeper etc. on daily/weekly basis.

Co-ordinate with other disciplines (Civil, Architectural, mechanical, plumbing etc.) prior to the execution in order to avoid future rework and thus manpower /materials wastage.

Deals with Consultant/Client inspection (QA/QC-Material/Work inspections) and get them documented for future references and clearance/payment purposes. Rectify the comments and resubmit and get approval in case any rejections.

Respect the target given by the superiors/managers and accomplish them with quality on time.

Assisting in shop drawings, Floor wise co-ordination drawings & Reflected Ceiling Plan Layout preparation/submission. Co-ordinate with drawing department to highlight the issues on site and help to modify the drawings for execution and As-built preparation.

Attend regular meetings (on work progress, coordination, design, etc.) with client and external consultant to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective actions.

Responsible for the following- Technical specifications writing, Review and technical evaluation of RFP, technical evaluation of vendor / Suppliers, developing and implementing a QA/QC procedure, preparing the technical schedule, equipment data sheet, technical review/evaluation of the tender proposal, value engineering.

Prepare site observation reports and NCRs, Inspect and verify contractor’s snagging/de-snagging activities, raising safety issues with the safety officer, Witnessing of testing and verification of electrical systems, make sure the site conditions are properly addressed in the as-built drawings submitted by the contractor.

Ensuring contractor compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings. Reviewing the relevant As-Built drawings as submitted by the contractor and make sure that all site conditions are properly addressed.

Supervising the site work, review shop drawing, and method of statement, material and technical submittal, field change notice, conduct material inspection for delivered materials at site.
